Where you fit in

With an aim to achieve Goal Zero, we need to build a strong culture where everyone is motivated to relentlessly pursue no harm to people.  The Operational HSSE discipline partners with the Businesses to achieve Goal Zero by providing them with overall safety support and to ensure delivery of effective HSSE management processes.

Align with Indonesia’s ambition to become a developed country, Shell Indonesia have a big ambition as well to grow the business progressively mainly from mobility and lubricants as well as other businesses such as Marine and NBS/Nature Based Solution.

This aspiration indicates that mobility Indonesia’s growth plan is significant progressive where we have targeted to increase and expand the current operating model such as increasing the number of sites from 200 to 230 sites by 2023, expanding the market in new operating areas, expansion of customer offer focusing more to NFR, etc.
For Lubricants, we have the ambition to becoming the market leader by 2025 across all segments. This growth is supported by the completion of Marunda LOBP through Marunda 2.0 project will increase its production capacity. In addition to LOBP expansion, we are also focusing our business growth inorganically where we are currently in a construction stage of grease plant, which is owned 100% by Shell, expanding the current lubricant’s business model towards different offers such as service expert and exploring new business model like our own dedicated workshop that can sell direct product to the end customers.
Besides Mobility and Lubricants, we also have other growing businesses such as Marine with its products provided by Shell LOBP in Marunda and Nature Based Solution that has a role to play in reducing the carbon intensity of the energy products we sell as well as addressing our customers’ emission footprint when they use energy products bought from Shell.
Given the needs to capture new opportunity as part of business growth, all the above ambitions will require us to deploy several of our employees to various locations, some of which are remote area with minimum HSSE condition (minimum healthcare facilities and lower standard of road safety and accommodations). We also have plans to open more mobility retail sites in many locations outside of the capital of Jakarta.
