The Role

The Payroll Manager for SEA will fill an integral position within the Global Admin department, ensuring our people are paid accurately and on time in both the Singapore and Malaysia markets, potentially more as we continue to grow. You’ll be responsible for immigration management for these regions, and ensuring excellence in our benefits programs like Insurance. For the right candidate, there’s a fast-track career growth opportunity to advance to Lead for Payroll, Immigration and C&B for the SEA region. This role has a direct impact on employment satisfaction for over 100 people, so we’re counting on you for your regional expertise, precision and clear communication to keep our people happy.

  • Payroll Manager & specialistPrepare and execute monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations
    • Prepare and execute monthly contractor payments
    • Resolve questions related to payroll
    • Help to manage HRIS data relating to payroll to ensure accurate information is available at all times
    • Statutory filing and government credit claims.
    • Support local and global audits by providing timely response to auditors for data and contract request
  • Immigration
    • Assist Recruitment team with job posting requirements
    • Prepare and submit work visa applications. The ideal candidate will be capable of completing submissions in house with high success rate, without needing to use external immigration lawyers
    • Track and monitor renewals and visa expiry
    • Stay up to date with all regulatory changes impacting work visas, and communicate impact to stakeholders early
  • Benefits Manager
    • Manage insurance enrollments and deactivations
    • Own the insurance program, and conduct annual reviews and renewals to ensure we are providing the best possible coverage for
    • staff/families within budget
    • Do whatever it takes to make Xendit succeed

  • Experience
    • Minimum of 2 years work experience in a Payroll or C&B role
    • Has a current understanding of local regulations and tax/cpf/epf contributions in both Singapore and Malaysia markets
    • Has personally prepared and successfully obtained a work visa for an employee in at least Singapore or Malaysia (ideally both)
