Responsibilities
- Managing category and stock for all areas of operations national wide, including but not limited to increasing number of SKUs, revenue contribution, and build a wide range of assortment
- Ensure Warehouse Supply Availability: Set ordering plan based on demand, suppliers stock availability and warehouse capability
- Finding and build partnerships with suppliers (negotiate prices, quantities, and trading terms)
- Encourage principals/suppliers to have a trading terms agreement
- Manage commercial margin for every principal and suppliers
- Create demand analysis and forecast to attract suppliers
- Coordinate with Buyer for stock movement, promotions, etc
- Managing working capital based on budget and adequacy
- Coordinate with marketing teams related to content, activation & promotional activities from each product or category
- Plan a short term, medium-term and long term strategy for the sales
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Management, Business, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Having 3+ years experience in Merchandising / Buyer, and 2+ years as Managerial Level - Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong ability to use and analyse data to provide inputs and forecast demand
- Understanding of Indonesian grocery market with proven ability to provide insights
