The Sales Operations Associate is a vital team member responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of sales strategies and processes to support our dynamic sales force. While not a client-facing role, this position plays a crucial part in ensuring our sales team operates efficiently and effectively, leveraging data analytics, tools, training, and effective strategies. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in driving our sales initiatives and business planning.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and coordinate the implementation of sales strategies for various customer segments, sales coverage models, team structures, channels, partners, and organizational designs
  • Craft comprehensive business plans focusing on revenue targets, resource demands, and sales-related costs
  • Produce accurate forecasting on a variety of metrics, ranging from daily to quarterly projections
  • Analyze sales data to derive actionable insights for strategy refinement and operational improvements
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for leadership to review sales performance and trends
  • Coordinate sales enablement initiatives across internal and external providers
  • Identify training gaps, opportunities, and ensure content/systems are up-to-date and accessible
  • Establish and refine both customer-facing and internal sales processes including lead generation, deal flow, and approvals
  • Collaborate with the relevant department to select, deploy, and integrate essential sales tools such as CRM, pitch collaterals, sales analytics, etc.

What This Role Needs

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales operations, business planning, or a related role
  • Proficiency with sales technology tools including CRM systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent)
  • Certification in sales operations or related field
  • Familiarity with sales training and enablement tools and techniques
  • Proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools
  • Proven track record of improving sales processes and strategies in past roles
