WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

We’re looking for a Senior Vendor Management Analyst Global – Converse role within materials sourcing & manufacturing. An innovative individuals capable of identifying, crafting and approaching material sourcing and supplier management, lead on compliance and implement traceability initiative with suppliers through an enterprise lens, while also effective communicating with global team mates and working cross-culturally. Be accountable for the performance and results of one or more teams within own discipline or department, be able to make decisions guided by policies and business plan that impact the level of service and the department’s ability to meet performance objectives. The candidates needs to be organized, detail oriented and thrive in problem solving environments and lead cross functional projects with limited support from line manager.

 

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

 

As an integral part of the Material Sourcing & Manufacturing team, you will work with material suppliers for supplier performance review, capacity management, build supplier capability etc. You will be partnering with functional teams and material subject matter experts on new projects across functional teams and deliver set business results and support on sourcing strategy with valuable inputs and make good decisions with proposals & data driven according to the needs info. You will lead to solve critical supplier performance challenges and work out the solutions, also to lead on compliance and traceability.

 

 

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH

 

You will report to Manager, Vendor Management Global – Converse within Material Sourcing & Manufacturing and will work closely with material suppliers and procurement team from shoe factories. You will also connect with internal functional teams to provide inputs in terms of supplier performance, lead on new projects with full storytelling skill to present the project, milestone and outcome etc. In your role, you will serve as material expert to manage supplier performance, capability, capacity etc. to achieve business target with material suppliers and be able to report challenges along with solutions as well as the high level summary for reporting.

 

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Industrial Engineering or Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in one or more of the areas of sourcing, manufacturing, operations, or supply chain
  • Knowledge of footwear material manufacturing, and supplier chain management, including traceability & compliance is preferred.
  • Influences via data storytelling and comfortable transforming large sets of information into a compelling business case. Tableau expertise is preferred.
  • Must be flexible, adaptable and resourceful and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity
  • Experience investigating, capturing and maintaining data in an information management system
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to navigate cross-functional needs and processes, including the ability to collaborate with and influence all levels of management
  • Team player, proactive, flexible and with a desire to learn and grow
  • Cultural awareness and a champion for diversity, inclusion, and belonging
  • Flexibility to connect with teammates in various time zones
  • Ability to travel 5%-10%
