Get to know the role:
We are seeking entrepreneurial and passionate merchandiser to own the dry/ fresh produce category for Grab Merchant Supplies business.
Being an early member of the team, you will help us to set up project expansion to big cities across Indonesia and will report directly to the merchandising manager.
The day to day activities:
– Lead day to day coordination with suppliers across cities to ensure stocks availability and best price served for our merchants
– Observe the market dynamic & merchant requirements on the new addition of SKU to enrich our assortment level
– Assisting with decisions about promotion such as discounted offers, bundling packages, and affordable bulk packages
– Analyzing sales-related data to predict future sales and stock requirements
– Inspecting landing pages and product information to ensure their visual appeal, accuracy, and ease of use
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s Degree from a top undergraduate institution.
– A track record of driving meaningful impact in fast-paced enterprises / new-age technology companies.
– 1 – 3 years of experience in a business/operations/ merchandise role in e-commerce companies or route-to-market teams of multinational FMCG companies.
– Experience in retail management is preferred.
– Insightful understanding of the Indonesian grocery market will be a plus.
