Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in Strategy/Operations.
  • Experience in project management and execution.

Preferred qualifications:

 

  • Experience using business intelligence and dashboards (e.g.Connect Sales, Data Studio).
  • Experience working with large data sets (e.g.Google Sheets, SQL database queries/analysis).
  • Knowledge of digital ads and Google’s business.
  • A sense of humor, and the ability to thrive and exercise judgment in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment.
  • Demonstrated collaborator with ideas, determination, and a passion for the internet who can work with people from a broad range of backgrounds and experience.
  • Excellent communicator with great interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as the ability to write well and convey complex issues clearly.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

As a Strategy and Operations Lead, you will act as a key business partner to the Indonesia Country Manager. You provide business critical insights and recommendations, ensure cross-functional alignment across business plans and execution goals, and help teams drive initiatives forward. You stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with strong day-to-day operations and execution, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth scalable initiatives.

You will also own some cross-functional Seattle Go-To-Market projects, developing cross-market assessment, and global best practice identification to put forward recommendations for the entire sub-region. As a Go-To-Market team member, you help to set the focus, pace and direction of our business across Indonesia and unite teams to deliver on Google’s most important business opportunities by advocating, challenging, and enabling our sales organization.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google’s complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities

Work closely with Country Leadership to develop annual business strategy, identify market and share of wallet trends, opportunity sizing, and putting forward recommendations that will enable us to deliver client success and win in the market.
Respond to problem statements raised by the local leadership team via hypothesis generation, problem solving, and insight generation across competitive/landscape/performance assessments.
Define key success metrics and execution plans, review organizational efficiencies, and develop organizational design proposals to achieve service model excellence.

Assess in-market tool and capability needs, and develop proposals to up-level operating efficiencies across workflows and process flows.
Work as a Partner/Chief of staff to ensure the organization runs flawlessly.
