We’re looking for a strategic and outspoken individual to join our proven team as an Associate, Investor Development based in Jakarta, Indonesia to drive investor acquisition and user success on the Fundnel platform across the region.
- We have ambitious plans to disrupt the traditional fundraising process for private businesses, by helping startups to raise capital via our online fundraising platform, at scale
- You will work with a diverse team of former investment bankers, strategy consultants and business owners in developing, monitoring, and improving products and processes to facilitate the activity of private investing
- We work really hard but play really hard as well
Roles and responsibilities
- Reporting to the Director of Investments (Platform Syndication), you will assist the team in growing our presence in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
- Drive regional growth and market share of Fundnel’s Platform Syndication business
- Think strategically, analytically and creatively to build out Fundnel’s Platform Syndication business – where we work to create user success throughout the capital raising process by taking the Fundnel product to the next level
- Conduct economic and competitive research to identify and act upon growth opportunities and strategies
- Manage stakeholder relationships and user queries
- Take ownership of managing relationships with existing and future investors
- Design and execute on an effective investor onboarding process, to ensure user success
- Perform lead generation and build Fundnel’s network of investors regionally for the Platform Syndication team – comprising both institutional and individual investors
- Analyze and optimize the use of proprietary data to drive investor targeting and engagement activities
- Continuously track investor engagement activities and aid in the conversion of investor leads
- Assist in and attend to general business development, marketing, networking and events
You’ll be a great fit for us if you
- At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in a financial institution
- Experience in working at a startup of any stage is highly desirable
- Ability to network and build meaningful relationships with investors
- Keen understanding of the capital raising process and an intuition of what investors look out for when evaluating a business for investment
- Strong business sense and knowledge of the start-up ecosystem, particularly in start-up investments
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
